Northfield Bank hosts “Pink Out”, Gives Back for Breast Cancer Month
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness about the disease and promote early detection through regular screenings. With breast cancer affecting millions of individuals and their families, it’s essential to share information about prevention, symptoms, and treatment options. By spreading knowledge and encouraging open conversations, communities can empower individuals to take charge of their health and support one another.
On October 23rd, Northfield Bank held a special event where employees wore pink for a $5 donation. All proceeds from the event went directly to the Susan G. Komen foundation, an organization dedicated to funding research, providing education, and supporting those affected by breast cancer. The event was a great success, showcasing our commitment to breast cancer awareness and research. The total amount raised highlights the impact of this collective effort in the fight against breast cancer.
