FeedNJ Program Receives Loan from Northfield Bank to Hit Goal of Serving 250,000 meals by July

A loan from Northfield Bank is enabling the FeedNJ program to drastically increase its weekly output to reach its goal of serving a quarter of a million meals at soup kitchens and other collective spaces in New Jersey by the end of July.

“This line of credit from Northfield Bank has unlocked our reimbursement grant funding, enabling our program to invest money into local restaurants that want to recoup some of the business lost due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and know that the meals they’ve prepared are going to folks who really appreciate them,” said FeedNJ Chairman Kevin O’Toole, Chairman of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
