Our summer internship program is an immersive experience that provides the participant with real-world experience in business banking throughout the duration of their program. The internship program runs from June to August.
Intern Associates will gain exposure to various aspects of their assigned department and will have the opportunity to participate in trainings, networking lunches, and executive meet and greets. They will shadow experienced staff and gain hands-on experience with banking systems and procedures to better understand how a financial institution operates.

The Assistant Branch Manager (ABM) Development Program is a professional development program targeted to high-performing Assistant Branch Managers who are looking to grow and expand in their careers at Northfield Bank. This 6-month experiential learning program is focused on building the requisite Branch Management leadership skills through education, coaching and mentorship to a cohort of four to eight ABMs across all four regions of the bank, with exposure to key aspects of the Branch Manager role.
