Northfield Bank Helps Build a Home for a Veteran in Perth Amboy

Habitat for Humanity is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to building homes for families in need, with a special focus on veterans who have served in the military. Through the hard work of volunteers and donations, Habitat for Humanity provides not just a house, but the opportunity to build a stable, secure future for themselves and their families. A few weeks ago, employees from Northfield Bank volunteered with Habitat for Humanity in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. This build was dedicated to providing a home for a local veteran, as part of Habitat for Humanity's ongoing support for former service members. Northfield’s team worked alongside other volunteers, contributing hours of labor on tasks like framing, insulation, and painting, all to help make the dream of homeownership a reality for a deserving veteran and their family.
