Northfield Bancorp Honored at EWNJ 2014 'A Seat at the Table' Board Gender Diversity Breakfast

WOODBRIDGE, NJ January 14, 2014– Executive Women of New Jersey ("EWNJ") honored Northfield Bancorp at their A Seat at the Table: Celebrating Women & Board Leadership Breakfast on January 28, 2014, at the Hilton East Brunswick in East Brunswick, NJ. Northfield Bancorp is one of 16 companies that received EWNJ's 2014 Corporate Board Gender Diversity Award recognizing publicly-held companies headquartered in New Jersey as of October 31, 2013 who have at least 3 women on their boards.

At the breakfast, EWNJ released its inaugural report, produced in collaboration with PwC, on the number of women on the boards of New Jersey's leading publicly-held corporations.

"EWNJ and PwC conducted the survey and produced the report to celebrate New Jersey's publicly-held companies that are committed to board gender diversity," said Keitha Lackey, President of EWNJ and Senior Vice President, FWD Direct. "We hope that this report spotlighting the leading companies will encourage others to follow suit."
