Fraud Alert
An automated telephone service is contacting local residents attempting to obtain information about their ATM /Debit Cards.
The callers are stating that the cards have been blocked and that the customer's card number, PIN, and three digit security code on the back of the card must be entered in order to reactivate the cards.
Northfield Bank is committed to protecting your personal information and would never ask this information over the phone. Please be alert if you receive this type of call and do not provide any personal or ATM/Debit card information.
Branch Expansion in 2012
Northfield Bank will be further expanding its branch network in 2012 with the opening of six new locations throughout the year. New branches are planned in Staten Island, Brooklyn and New Jersey.

Former First State Bank Branch Information
Cranford Branch: The Cranford, New Jersey branch of the former First State Bank was closed on 1/14/12 and all accounts were moved into Northfield's Linden office located at 501 N. Wood Avenue. Click here for more information.
Northfield Customers using the Westfield Branches: Until the completion of a data processing conversion in mid-March 2012, existing Northfield Bank customers are unable to process transactions at the Westfield former First State Bank branch.
