STATEN ISLAND, NY, April 3, 2008 –Northfield Bank announced today that Jean Ringhoff has joined Northfield as Vice President and Manager of the New Dorp branch.
Prior to joining Northfield, Ms. Ringhoff was a Vice President with SI Bank & Trust, a Division of Sovereign Bank. She started her banking career in 1983 with Gateway State Bank and advanced into treasury and administration before moving to SI Bank & Trust in 1995.
“With twenty-five years experience, Jean brings a proven record of customer service, management and sales development skills that will positively affect our customers and the Bank,” stated Robin Lefkowitz, Senior Vice President and Director of Business Development for Northfield Bank.
Ms. Ringhoff is a community leader with involvement in several Staten Island organizations. She is an active member of the Board of Directors for Meals on Wheels, serves on the Committee of Management Counseling for the Staten Island YMCA, and holds positions on numerous committees for The March of Dimes. She also volunteers on the golf committees for the Staten Island Heart Society and Kids Against Cancer. She currently resides in the Great Kills section of Staten Island.
Jean succeeds Evelyn Comiskey, who is currently Vice President and Branch Manager at New Dorp. Ms. Comiskey will be assuming responsibilities as Manager of the Bank’s largest branch and main office which is located in Castleton Corners. This move comes following the announcement by Marion Horn that she is retiring this spring after 30 years of service to Northfield and its customers.

Ms. Comiskey began her career with Northfield Bank in 1982 and is an active member of The March of Dimes. She currently resides in the Annadale section of Staten Island.
