STATEN ISLAND, N.Y, February 13, 2008 –John W. Alexander, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Northfield Bank, announced today that Robin Lefkowitz has been named Senior Vice President.
Ms. Lefkowitz joined Northfield as Director of Business Development in January 2006. Since coming on board, “Robin has instilled in the Bank a renewed focus on sales and service. She has directed the sales training effort of all our branch staff, established a goal based incentive compensation program for branch management, and a customer-calling program for business customer development. These efforts and the hard work of our branch personnel have resulted in an unprecedented level of DDA and investment sales growth,” stated Alexander.
As a local leader, she is a founding member of the Women’s Leadership Council, under the direction of the Staten Island Economic Development Corporation (SIEDC).
Ms. Lefkowitz serves as the President of the Jewish Community Center of Staten Island and is a member of the Bucks Business Network. She also serves on the Board of the Staten Island Heart Society and the golf committee for the Staten Island Chapter of the American Cancer Society.
Ms. Lefkowitz was recently recognized by the UJA Federation for outstanding volunteer leadership and by Eden II for her dedication to corporate leadership. She received the “Good Scout” Award from the Staten Island Council of the Boy Scouts of America in 2006.
