The email text below is a sample of a Phishing email that may be sent from a third party attempting to obtain personal or account information.
In this example, the email contains a link in the 2nd paragraph that appears to be taking you to Northfield Bank, however the link will actually direct the user to another site impersonating the Northfield web site. This fake site, which will look nearly identical the the real Northfield site, will then ask you to input personal account information.
REMEMBER - Northfield Bank will never send an email requesting account or personal information. If you receive an email simi liar to the one below, please disregard the email and contact us immediately at 1-718-448-1000, extension 532 or at abuse@eNorthfield.com.

Protecting the security of your account and the Northfield Bank network is our primary concern.
